The Trutnov Dragon – the legend comes to life in augmented reality

The ancient legend of the Trutnov dragon is taking on a new form. During the festive lighting of the Christmas tree on November 30, the legendary dragon will be officially "released" into the streets of the city—this time using augmented reality (AR).

How does it work? It's easy: with a smartphone that supports virtual reality and a scanned QR code, you can view the dragon anywhere on the square.

However, the Trutnov dragon is not just a one-off attraction. It will remain a permanent feature of the city. QR codes to activate it will be placed in various locations in the city center, allowing visitors and locals alike to bring the legend back to life whenever they wish.
