Dragon Gallery

The Dragon Gallery is a unique gallery dedicated to the creature which appeared in the legend describing the founding of Trutnov - the dragon. The gallery was opened in the basement of the Art School in Trutnov and is wheelchair friendly. The complete tour lasts about 30 minutes and is of interest to both children and adults.

Trutnov, Dragon Gallery

The dragon is presented in the exhibition as a multi-layered and difficult-to-grasp symbol. The visitor will find here, among other things, a mechanical puppet theatre presenting the dragon legend by a light form performance amplified by sound and visual effects.

The gallery also offers a small hall for various art workshops, discussions, lectures, author readings and chamber music performances. Here the short films from Trutnov dragon festivities and other European dragon cities are also screened in time loops.
