Children’s Playgrounds
An afternoon at the playground, sitting on the bench sipping coffee and just watching happily playing children. These are the magic moments while visiting the town. Trutnov offers a number of places where you can enjoy such quality time with either toddlers or schoolchildren. Cafes are within easy reach outdoors or indoors.
Uffo Children’s Playground
It is small but always occupied by a bunch of children. A slide, a carousel, swings with an artificial safety surface are within an easy reach of two garden cafes where you can buy take-away coffee and at the same time relax on a bench by the playground watching your children play. The playground is right in the city centre but away from busy traffic not far from the sculpture Smečka - our Trutnov cats by Michal Gabriel. It is a good children’s attraction.
Lower Promenade Playground
You will find this playground right next to the Small Square and the iron pedestrian bridge, which is decorated with colourful array of flowers in summer. A small playground is fenced and shaded by mature chestnut trees from the summer heat. There is an outdoor seating area belonging to the café and pastry shop. It is very well known amongst the locals and mothers´ favourite confectionery.
The confectionery offers a shelter in case of rain. The interior of the place has a large children's corner, conceived more as an indoor playground. Here you can watch your child play while you enjoy the sweet goodies sold here.
Recreation Centre Trutnov
A space everybody loves. There is an amusement place for the little children, the older ones can have fun on the adventure playground because the whole area is equipped with an inexhaustible number of features, where children can enjoy their day to the fullest according to their own imagination. As a bonus there is a café offering small snacks.
Recreation center is behind the railway station, far away from city traffic, nestled among the trees with good parking.
